Elysian Fields B&B
Set in an agricultural area, this relaxing bed-and-breakfast is just 4 miles from the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape. Offering sea views from the front and a children's play area to enjoy; Elysian Fields is the ultimate escape to Cornish paradise.
Your hosts are us, Jackie and Tony Burchell.
Jackie was born and raised in Cornwall and her family’s roots go back generations. Her father Tommy Bray can often be heard on Radio Cornwall. Tony is an Emmet (means an outsider) from sunny Birmingham but settled in Cornwall 20 years ago. Most of that time Jackie and Tony have lived overseas in Singapore, Cairo, New Delhi, Dubai, Qatar and Tel Aviv. This exposure to different cultures and standards of hospitality gave Jackie the idea of bringing some of the 5-star treatment that she had experienced to a Cornish Bed & Breakfast.
So in 2013, Elysian Fields (the Roman expression for Paradise) came into being. It is now the #1 B&B in the Helston area and has the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014 and 2015
